Advocacy

Not only is The Jewish Federation the central address for the L.A. Jewish community, it is also the central point for advocacy on behalf of Los Angeles Jews. We take positions on essential issues of the day, presenting the views of thousands of community members to local, state and federal officials. We also train the next generation of leaders. In each of these endeavors, we seek to meaningfully and effectively impact public policy and the future of our community.

Community Relations
Through its Jewish Community Relations Committee, the Federation takes positions on issues of importance to the Jewish community, and works on behalf of its beneficiary agencies to promotes these positions with elected and appointed officials. Read More
