Los Angeles Hillel Council Los Angeles Hillel Council is the Jewish presence on campus at colleges and universities, providing a program of education, social and religious activities, counseling and cultural events to more than 30,000 undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty. Israel Experiences Project OTZMA Project OTZMA is a 10-month, leadership development program for Jewish young adults (ages 20-26) to live and volunteer in Israel in a variety of settings. Participants make meaningful contributions to Israel through community service and educational opportunities. Federation staff and lay leaders interview candidates. Those chosen to participate receive subsidies for program fees from the Jewish Federation. Taglit-Birthright Israel Taglit-Birthright Israel is an international organization dedicated to bringing young people — ages 18 to 26 — on a free, first-time peer-experience educational trip to Israel. The Jewish Federation provides significant support to this long-term effort to strengthen Jewish community and solidarity with Israel.
