Geller Leadership Project

We're looking for 13 young leaders who want more:
More training. More networking. More ways to make a difference.

The goal of the Geller Leadership Project is to recruit, train, encourage and enable a select group of young (25-40) Jewish professionals to become future leaders of our community. As a Geller Fellow, you will improve your already considerable leadership abilities and acquire more of the tools you need to make a difference in the Jewish future. The program begins each January and will challenge you, inspire you and ultimately enable you to achieve your potential. Curriculum topics, facilitated by top consultants, include:

  • Meeting with Top Leaders
  • Federation Education
  • Public Speaking
  • Philanthropy & Fundraising
  • D'var Torah Training and Practice
  • Advocacy Training

With select participants, Geller Leadership Project classes are intimate and highly interactive. In addition, you will enjoy a partially subsidized weekend Shabbaton and a partially subsidized, unforgettable mission to Israel. At the end of the year-long program, you will be placed in a meaningful role within The Jewish Federation.

Are you ready to step up - and stay there?

If you've got a heart for excellence you may have what it takes. Thanks to your experience in the program, you will be poised for success as you take your place among the next generation of innovative and passionate young leaders in our community.

  • Submit an application. (Applications are due November 23, 2009.)
  • Participate in an interview.
  • Attend monthly trainings, occasional Sunday volunteer activities and special events.
  • Mandatory participation in both a local Shabbaton and a mission to Israel.
  • Minimum $1,000 gift to The Jewish Federation's annual campaign.
