Holocaust survivors. Jewish elderly. Families in distress. Recent immigrants. These represent only a few of the recipients of Federation-sponsored assistance. With a cadre of beneficiary agencies on the front lines, the Federation sees to it that those with nowhere else to turn have somewhere to go for help. Poverty programs. Aid to families. Support for our youth. In all cases, the Federation works hard to make sure that your donations are stretched as far as possible. In fact, the cost of fundraising is less than 15 percent of all funds raised – exceeding the industry standard. That means the Federation and its partners can do more to help those who have less.
Seniors Care of our elderly is a Jewish mandate. The Federation provides critical support to the aging Jewish population in number of areas, including housing, legal aid, social programming, counseling and more.
