Serving the Vulnerable

Holocaust survivors. Jewish elderly. Families in distress. Recent immigrants. These represent only a few of the recipients of Federation-sponsored assistance. With a cadre of beneficiary agencies on the front lines, the Federation sees to it that those with nowhere else to turn have somewhere to go for help. Poverty programs. Aid to families. Support for our youth. In all cases, the Federation works hard to make sure that your donations are stretched as far as possible. In fact, the cost of fundraising is less than 15 percent of all funds raised –  exceeding the industry standard. That means the Federation and its partners can do more to help those who have less.

Families and individuals
For everyone, there are times in life when we need a little extra help. It may be help finding a job, emergency food or shelter, assistance combating addiction, finding low-cost healthcare or resettling in a new country. For these needs and so many more, the Federation and its beneficiary agencies are here.
