English language competence is essential to professional and economic advancement in an increasingly high-tech Israeli society. Qualified, well-trained, native speaking English teachers are in great demand, but short supply. The Tel Aviv Teach and Study Program (TASP) is a two year program that brings English speaking university graduates to live and work in Tel Aviv.

The focus for participating teachers is multi-fold: to earn a master’s degree in English language teaching and learning, impact the English language development of children in Tel Aviv, and experience life in a vibrant and dynamic multicultural society. During the experience, participants take advantage of the social and cultural activities in Israel, study Hebrew and participate in educational seminars.
