It Takes A Woman
I was so pleased to be your keynote speaker for the 2012 It Takes a Woman event for The Jewish Federation Valley Alliance. I encourage all of you to attend the luncheon this March 19th featuring actress and author Camryn Manheim at the Four Seasons Westlake Village.
You will network with some of the warmest women I've ever met while supporting women's philanthropy. Not only am I an author and a public speaker, but I am also involved in the Washington, D.C. Federation at the Pomegranate level. I know that you are busy women with lots of layers to your lives, yet please put this luncheon on your "Don't Miss" list. I will be with you in spirit!
Echoing Iris Krasnow’s enthusiasm, we encourage you to make plans to join us on March 19th at the Four Seasons in Westlake Village for our biggest women’s event of the year—It Takes A Woman 2013! Our annual ITAW event draws hundreds of like-minded women together to show solidarity in philanthropy, and the power of woman’s gift, in support of the life-changing work of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. This year will be no exception! Not only will you have the chance to socialize and connect with over 400 women from across the Valley, all of whom are passionate about our Federation’s meaningful work, you’ll also have the pleasure of hearing from some extraordinary guest speakers, including Emmy®-winning actress and New York Times-bestselling author, Camryn Manheim!
Camryn is best known for her portrayal of defense attorney Ellenor Frutt on ABC's The Practice, for which she won an Emmy Award. She was also nominated for Golden Globe® and Emmy Awards for her role as Elvis Presley’s mother in the mini-series, Elvis. Named one of the “Most Intriguing People of the Year” by People, Camryn is renowned for the warmth, candor, and passion she brings to every speaking engagement—so don’t miss the opportunity to hear her in person!
