In 2007, the Legal Division of The Jewish Federation launched EMET, the Young Legal Division of The Jewish Federation – a vibrant community of attorneys and other members of the legal profession, between the ages of 25-45. Emet, which means “truth” in Hebrew, has meaning for all of us who care about justice, social action, and the realization of full potential in ourselves and others. EMET will pursue these values all year long through a broad array of networking and social action activities created to fit the schedules of busy young legal professionals. It’s an opportunity to enhance your professional network, have a great time, and help create positive change in Los Angeles, Israel, and around the world. Be a part of this groundbreaking initiative to mobilize L.A.’s young legal industry to make a difference. With EMET, we can raise the “bar” for our community.
