National Young Leadership Cabinet
For more than 40 years, the National Young Leadership Cabinet has trained leaders to assume the most important civic and philanthropic roles in the Jewish community. The Leadership Cabinet is a six-year journey that educates and inspires 400 exceptional men and women through workshops, retreats, conferences and missions. Cabinet members improve their leadership skills through the program opportunities and by working with peers who are also strongly committed to ensuring a Jewish future.

Joining the Cabinet
Members are expected to be actively involved in the activities of their federations and encouraged to attend United Jewish Communities (UJC) national events and programs.
In order to join you must fulfill the following criteria:
- Age: You must be between the ages of 30 and 40 as of your first annual retreat.
- Leadership: You must have a history of involvement and leadership in your federation and/or the broader Jewish community, with an emphasis on fundraising.
- Giving Commitment: You should have the potential to make a leadership-level gift. The minimum individual commitment is $5,000 to the federation's annual campaign, aspiring to give 10 percent of your household's gross income or, where that benchmark is not relevant, one percent of your net worth to tzedakah with at least 50 percent going to the federation's annual campaign.
- Participation: You must attend the annual retreat each year of your Cabinet tenure, and participate in the caucus process.
