New Leaders Project

The Jewish Federation’s New Leaders Project is the premier Jewish civic leadership training program in the country, linking Jewish values with a commitment to civic activism. Founded in Los Angeles in 1990 and facilitated by our city’s most visible and accomplished leaders, the NLP is a yearlong series of discussions and experiences that are structured around emerging and ongoing issues.

As participants work together to design and implement community service projects, they have an extraordinary opportunity to put their skills and background into action in support of the community. Projects are structured so that participants develop relationships and learn how to collaborate.
