Wrapping Up 2011 in Style: Glimpses of our Holiday Event
The holiday cheer was palpable on Sunday as 70 of our volunteers gathered together for our annual Wrap It Up holiday event!
Volunteers were invited to The Jewish Federation to select and wrap new books to give to each of their reading partners this holiday season. Volunteers were also invited to select a new book to give to their student's teachers. From Pinkalicious to Squirrely Gray, from the Goosebumps series, to the Boxcar Children series, there was something for everyone's student!
It was a pleasure planning this event for our volunteers and an even greater joy to see them enjoying it. Volunteers took the opportunity to avidly swap reading session ideas and suggestions, and we were thrilled to see our volunteers come away with new friendships.
Below are some of our favorite memories from Wrap It Up captured in photographs.
