In Loving Memory Of Our Dear Friend,
Therese Hundert

This newsletter is dedicated in loving memory of Therese Hundert. Therese was an irreplaceable member of the KOREH L.A. family. She volunteered for 25 years with The Jewish Federation, and spent the last 5 with us at KOREH L.A. She was an invaluable asset to our program, helping us with anything and everything. She was unbelievably quick and clever. She was a blessing to us all.

Even more than devoting her time to helping us logistically, Therese's greatest contributions were much more personal. Therese developed relationships with all the staff here at KOREH L.A. She gave us advice, taught us Yiddish, told many jokes, and often cooked for us her fantastic, fluffy, matzah brei. The AmeriCorps, who change every year, became known as her "kids." Therese also knit beautiful blankets for all of our staff members throughout the years.

Along with her beautiful blankets, Therese's kind smiles, wisdom, and memories have, and will continue to give us immeasurable warmth. We feel grateful and truly privileged to have been a part of her life.
