6th Annual "Wrap It Up" Event

KOREH L.A. recently hosted its Sixth Annual "Wrap It Up" event.  This is the second year KOREH L.A. held the event in both the city and the valley. More than X KOREH volunteers participated.  The event was kicked off at The Jewish Federation Goldsmith Center on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 and continued on Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Bernard Milken Jewish Community Campus in West Hills.

"Wrap It Up" provided KOREH L.A. and Pre-K KOREH volunteers the chance to choose and gift-wrap books to give both to their "reading partners" and to their classroom teachers.  During this event, volunteers were able to meet each other and celebrate their commitment to literacy together. Most importantly, the volunteers had a chance to give their special "reading partners'" personal books to take home and enjoy for years to come.

KOREH L.A. would like to thank all of the volunteers who attended this event.  Without your commitment, KOREH L.A would not be as successful as it is today. Thank you for all that you do to help our city's children. You are truly wonderful volunteers.  We had a great time with you and enjoyed hearing about your experiences. Hope to see you all at next year's event!
