Grow a Vegetable Garden

Join forces with Netiya, a new city-wide network of Jewish institutions working to create a more vibrant local food system, and residents of one of Etta Israel Center’s group residential homes for adults with special needs. Volunteers will create and plant a vibrant vegetable garden. Volunteers should wear appropriate shoes, a hat and gardening gloves if you have them. People of all abilities are welcome!

Date: Sunday, February 12, 2012
Address: Van Nuys. (Exact address will be included in confirmation email.) Street parking is available.
Time: 2pm - 4pm
