Culver City:
Jennifer Stempel

My name is Jennifer, and I'm a born and raised Valley girl who currently calls Culver City home. When I'm not kvelling about my adorable son, I fill my days creating new TV shows as a development executive, volunteering at my synagogue, and cooking up a storm for my food blog, TheCubanReuben.com. I relish in the fact that my baby refuses to eat bland food, and I find great joy in introducing him to the flavors of Cuban Jewish cuisine.(It's pretty cute when he has garlic breath).I'm looking forward to exploring the neighborhood with my fellow Culver City PJ Library families!

South Bay:
Yaira Gurman

Hello, I am Yaira Gurman. I'm originally from Israel, but was raised in Los Angeles. I currently live in beautiful Manhattan Beach with my husband and three very busy boys. I am very active in my children's school, and I love to cook, play tennis, host parties, and travel. Most of the days, however, I am the referee, driver and policewoman of my house. I can't wait to meet all the families in South Bay!

East Valley:
Carrie Golan

Hi, I'm Carrie Golan, the PJ Library Community Connector for the East Valley. As the Community Connector, I'm excited to meet families with children 0-2 years old, who are looking to create community with the help of PJ Library. I was born and raised in Alabama and lived in Israel for the past 10 years. I recently moved to Sherman Oaks with my husband and two little boys. I am a drama therapist by profession and know, both as a parent and as a therapist, how meaningful stories and books and connections can be. I love exploring this new place I call home, and I can't wait to meet all the PJ Library families in the East Valley!
