"Our community has a long-standing legacy of leadership with a commitment to integrity, social justice, ethical government, and thoughtful policy decisions. NLP allowed me to build a community of other emerging civic leaders committed to our shared values."
—State Senator Ben Allen

The Rautenberg New Leaders Project is a premier civic leadership training program of The Jewish Federation that has trained the next generation of Los Angeles Jewish leaders for over 25 years.

NLP is an extraordinary opportunity for participants to become the Jewish civic leaders of tomorrow. Participants will learn first-hand how to enhance their leadership capabilities and gain a deep knowledge and understanding of the diverse fabric of our city while working with elected, civic, and community leaders to address some of the most critical challenges facing Los Angeles.

The application will be open August 15th through December 16, 2016.

NLP provides these unique opportunities for civic-minded Jews, ages 27-40 years old, who have demonstrated a commitment to civic and/or Jewish leadership. During the year-long program, participants gain an intimate view of the complex issues and communities of Los Angeles, delve into the Jewish tradition of social responsibility, and learn valuable skills that help them contribute to improving our community.
