Recognition Societies

The Federation's Recognition Societies thank those individuals who make generous contributions to the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles. By making a contribution you are strengthening the Federation and providing healing for Los Angeles' most vulnerable citizens.

Ben–Gurion Society

The Ben–Gurion Society is a National donor recognition program for individuals — ages 25–45 — who give a minimum individual gift of at least $1,000 to the Federation's Annual Campaign. Members of the Society have access to exclusive Federation events along with VIP treatment and business and social networking opportunities. Tekiah Circle

The Tekiah Circle provides individuals and families — committed to uplifting the community — with social, cultural and educational opportunities to further strengthen the Jewish community. Tekiah, a sound blasted on the shofar during Rosh Hashanah, signifies a call to action for our community. Tekiah Circle donors make an annual family gift of $10,000 or more. King David Society

The King David Society is a devoted group of community leaders dedicated to ensuring a strong Jewish future. The generous donors of the King David Society contribute a $25,000 minimum family gift to The Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign. King David Society members are recognized for their philanthropic achievements and provided with unique opportunities to visit the programs they support in order to learn firsthand how their efforts help repair the world. Hineni Society

Hineni Society members are the leaders of the Jewish community and embody the spirit of Hineni — a phrase that means “here I am” in Hebrew — as Moses and Abraham did in responding to God's request to do something challenging and important. Implicitly this means that they are ready, willing and able to do what is asked of them on behalf of the Jewish people.
