EZRA Program for Special Needs Students
As part of the HaMercaz Religious School inclusion Pilot program, The Jewish Federation has awarded Temple Menorah a $5,500 grant for their EZRA program, which provides assistance and support to students with special needs to ensure that they are successful in becoming involved in the Jewish community and developing strong positive Jewish identity. The program, available to Temple Menorah families at no additional cost, includes: personalized learning plans, small group learning, one-to-one attention, in-class assistance and complete confidentiality.

Children with an IEP or 504 plan in school, or with learning problems that have not been assessed, are eligible for EZRA. Temple Menorah is ready and waiting to ensure that each student reaches their full potential from Bar/Bat Mitzvah to Confirmation and beyond.

Rosenberg Senior Center
Temple Menorah’s Rosenberg Senior Center is dedicated to continuous intellectual, spiritual and physical well-being through one’s adult life. The Center strives to facilitate this process through cognitive and spiritual stimulation, physical activity and multi-generational interactions with the Temple Menorah community and the larger Jewish community. Stressing opportunities for social interaction, relevant speakers of Jewish interest and classes that both challenge and entertain, the Center provides seniors with a conduit to continued self discovery.

The Center operates from 11:00am to 3:00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. A daily charge of $10 for Temple Menorah members or $12 for non-members covers all the activities including kosher lunch, speakers and enrichment programs. For seniors unable to drive, transportation can be provided for a nominal charge.
