Twenty post-Undergrad community members joined us at BLVD Kitchen in Sherman Oaks for Flipping Delicious, part of NuRoots’ Infinite Light Hanukkah Festival. Led by a trained chef, the group grated, cut, peeled, fried, and flipped a variety of latkes: original potato, sweet potato, root vegetable, and cheesy scallion latkes, as well as homemade spiced applesauce, pear and cranberry compote, and herbed crème fraiche. Guests came away with new friends, and delicious new recipes to bring into their homes and community for the Hanukkah festival.
