Shining on the edge of the Pacific, The Jewish Federation’s BAR Center at the Beach is the most compelling destination for Jewish life in the United States. With endless possibilities for rich cultural and spiritual engagement across generations, it expands and revitalizes our entire Jewish community. The Jewish Federation has designed programming at our BAR Center at the Beach to care for and connect our community members and to inspire Jewish journeys. Each of the Program Funds listed below is available for naming for a gift of $300,000, and contributions of any amount will be graciously accepted. Donors who name Program Funds will be recognized prominently within BAR Center, on relevant program materials, and on all Jewish Federation donor recognition publications.

Program Funds Available for Naming
Senior Programming — Providing services to our treasured Jewish seniors in the surrounding communities of Venice, Oakwood, and parts of Santa Monica is a core BAR Center priority. Seniors who are aging in place are provided transportation to socialize and receive free, nutritional kosher meals, community, shabbat, and holiday programming and much-needed social services.
Intergenerational Programming — Along with our seniors, BAR Center provides extensive programming for Jewish young adults, drawing on the energy of the dynamic Venice community, including creative programming bringing together our seniors and younger populations for the benefit of both. We offer opportunities for seniors to share their stories and impact the next generation.
Wellness Programming — Taking advantage of our stunning beach setting, we provide mental health programming and counseling for individuals and families of all ages and stages. Programs combine Jewish wisdom, spiritual practice, and wellness awareness.
Families with Young Children Programming — From parent-and-me programs to beach play days and Jewish holiday celebrations, we provide an array of opportunities for Jewish families with young children to connect with our community and each other at BAR Center.
Available Building Naming Opportunities
BAR Center Administrative Hub — Just inside the building’s deck, the Administrative Hub (the last available room) is available for naming for $75,000. It will house the professional supporting of all of our high-impact programs.
BAR Center Care Fund — Because BAR Center will be used by thousands of people every year and is located right on the beach, we are creating a BAR Center Care Fund to ensure that the building is well-maintained today and for generations to come. The Fund can be named for a contribution of $300,000.
