A message from Kamyar and Natasha

Kamyar is celebrating his 49th birthday. In lieu of gifts we are asking for you to support a charity near and dear to Kamyar’s heart, JFEDLA. Kamyar has been a vital part of JFEDLA for many years in a variety of roles. He has been the past Chair of the Real Estate & Construction Network, currently sits on the Board of Directors and the Israel Emergency Funding Committee, which directly oversees JFEDLA donations to those in Israel impacted by the events of October 7th. Kamyar has dedicated his time and energy to advancing the mission of JFEDLA and the Los Angeles Jewish community. 

By celebrating Kamyar, you are helping JFEDLA provide vital support to Israel and the Los Angeles Jewish community, which ranges from grief counseling for victims of terror to finding shelter for families displaced by 10/7.  We have set a fund raising goal of $24,500.  If this goal is hit, Kamyar and Natasha will match this donation to reach a total of $49,000 in honor of Kamyar’s 49th, so please consider giving.  And yes, your donation is tax deductible.

For further information, please call (323) 761-8413 or e-mail JFCStockDonations@JewishLA.org. To help ensure the proper credit of your gift of securities, we ask that you or the transferring broker provide notification of your gift and include the following details in writing or via e-mail:

  • Donor name and address
  • Type and number of securities being transferred
  • Name and contact information of the transferring brokerage house
  • Date of the transfer

Contact your local IRA custodian to learn more about filing the appropriate paperwork to initiate the transfer. Please notify us of your pending transfer and the financial company from which we should expect the wire transfer or check payment so that we can identify the funds once received.
