HUG (Helping Uplift Generations) Fund

In times of crisis, JFEDLA protects our future. That’s why we are building several strategic funds to address the urgent needs of Jewish families and put the values of community and heritage in action.

Our Helping Uplift Generations (HUG) Fund Ensures Your Jewish Future Remains Bright

Together, with so many generous members of our community, JFEDLA is committed to helping families rebuild with dignity, resilience, and hope. By offering greater access to Jewish early childhood education and overnight summer camp, the HUG Fund is an investment in the future of Jewish life in Los Angeles.

Together, we will rebuild. Together, we will thrive.

Jewish Early Childhood Education Tuition Reduction

For families impacted by the 2025 wildfires, we are offering a 50% tuition reduction for children attending Jewish early childhood centers in the Los Angeles area. This support allows families to maintain their children’s continued enrollment in a nurturing Jewish environment, while also welcoming families who may be exploring Jewish education for the first time.

Jewish Overnight Summer Camp Tuition Reduction

Jewish overnight summer camp is more than a seasonal retreat — it’s a cornerstone of Jewish identity. For families impacted by the 2025 wildfires, we are offering 50% tuition reduction for California Jewish overnight summer camps. This support is available to both returning camper families and those new to the Jewish overnight camp experience, ensuring that all eligible families can benefit from this meaningful Jewish connection during a challenging time.

Professionals Serving the Jewish Community

Our community is powered by dedicated professionals who work in Jewish communal organizations ― clergy, educators, and staff. Many of these families lost their homes and livelihoods in the fires. We owe it to them to give back. This fund provides support to help these vital professionals rebuild their lives as they continue to serve the Jewish community.

Together with so many generous members of our community, JFedLA is committed to preserving Jewish futures and ensuring that families can rebuild with dignity, resilience, and hope. By investing in these funds, you are investing in the future of Jewish life in Los Angeles.

Join us. Together, we will rebuild. Together, we will thrive.
