America, Israel, and the Future of the Middle East
On Thursday, October 29th, the Israel Air Force Center Foundation will host The Future of the Strategic Alliance: America, Israel, and a Middle East in Turmoil, featuring a dialogue between Ambassador John Bolton, the former U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and Brigadier General Israel (Relik) Shafir, the legendary Israeli flying ace and military leader, who participated in the mission to destroy Iraq’s nuclear reactor in 1981. These two leaders will address a range of issues pertaining to the future of their two nations’ strategic relationship, including the Iranian nuclear threat and Middle East instability.
