Art Exhibit – The Life and Art of Jewish Artist, David Labkovski

Celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month in May with the opening art exhibit ” Documenting History through Art” the life and journey of David Labkovski
whose art represents the Litvak experience of 500 years of Jewish life in Vilna, Lithuania and later on his experience under the communist Stalin regime in the Gulag prison of Siberia and later in Israel. Visitors to the exhibit will be guided by David Labkovski Project student Docents and have the opportunity to hear a lecture by Labkovski’s great niece and founder of the David Labkovski Project, Leora Raikin
