Gear Up for Camp Day

Summer is fast approaching. That means it’s time for summer camp! You can help underserved kids prepare for the time of their lives by volunteering at our Federation’s annual Gear Up for Camp Day on Sunday, June 12th.

Start the morning indoors by assembling care kits to properly equip the more than 800 campers who will attend Camp Bob Waldorf, the local resident camp of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles. Then the fun continues outside, with Arts & Crafts, Field Games, a Petting Zoo with Farm Animals, and enjoying the outdoors with campers and their families.

This volunteer opportunity only comes around once a year, so don’t miss it!

All guests are required to show proof of vaccination prior to or on the date of the event. Please upload your vaccine card to www.JewishLA.org/eform. If your proof of vaccination is already on file with us, there is no need for you to take further action. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
