April 28 @ 9:30 am – 12:00 pm
JYCM Los Angeles Day of Education & Advocacy

Jewish teens (7-12th grade) in LA are coming together for a dynamic morning of learning, community building, discussing climate anxiety after fires, and engaging in hands-on advocacy. We’re hearing from guest speakers at Resilient Palisades – a crucial group for environmental advocacy, learning about the community’s recovery and how to build resilience post-fire.
Get involved in the kvutzot (JYCM chapters) Eco Fair – create sustainable detergent, upcycle art from recycled materials, browse our thrifting table, and learn about our groundbreaking JYCM Underwrite Earth campaign. Write postcards to local representatives demanding climate justice and hear from Hila Huber of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles on the inspiring history of youth movements.
Finish the morning empowered to take action with JYCM! New to the community? Join us! This is your chance to learn, connect, and take meaningful action.
