LAJAC Chaverim JDAIM Game Night

• Jewish Disabilities Awareness and Inclusion month is a part of the national effort to raise awareness about and promote inclusion of those with disabilities in our community.
• February is an opportunity to highlight the work Federation does with local partners throughout the year to help those with developmental disabilities access quality services and programs that enhance daily living and inclusion in the Jewish community.
• Jewish Family Service partners with Federation on the Chaverim program. Chaverim provides social and recreational activities that enhance the quality of life for persons ages 18 and over with diverse abilities. Our supportive environment helps participants realize their potential and become active, vital members of a community.  Chaverim currently hosts 16 zoom activities per month including game nights, mindfulness, acting, singing and virtual trips.
