A light-blue watercolor–styled poster announcing “Arts Signs & Chaim,” a Jewish Deaf community event featuring ASL hand‐sign motifs, taking place October 19, 2025 from 10 AM to 3 PM at Miracle Mile, Los Angeles, with logos of the Jewish Deaf Congress, SoCal Jewish Deaf Community, and the International Jewish Deaf Festival.

Laniado Hospital honors Jerry and Jean Friedman with the Stanley filler Chesed award at their annual gala to be held December 9th, 2025. Guest speaker Rabbi Yoel Gold with a special address by Major Shirel Melman of the IDF Home Front Command. The evening will also include a farewell tribute to Chaim Sternthal for is dedication to WC Friends of Laniado as he moves to a different region.
