Supporting Teens to Shine Their Light –

Jewish wisdom teaches that we are all created to be our own individual unique expression of God’s light in the world. As parents, how do we encourage our teen’s self-exploration and self-expression? How can we become more accepting of their choices as they experiment with everything from hairstyle, fashion and music to gender, pronouns and social groups? In this session, we will create awareness around how to move beyond our personal preferences and discomforts so we can be allies for our teens on their journey to becoming who they are intended to be.
