Los Angeles Premiere of the Multi-Award-Winning Documentary, “Determined: The Story of Holocaust Survivor Avraham Perlmutter”

The Los Angeles premiere of the multi-award-winning documentary, “Determined: The Story of Holocaust Survivor Avraham Perlmutter,” will be held by the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival and its dedicated partners from April 7 (the streaming window begins April 7 at 4:00 pm PDT) through April 11 in commemoration of Yom HaShoah. There will also be an online Q&A on April 11 at 12:30 pm PDT with the filmmaker and Avraham’s daughter, Dr. Keren Perlmutter, descendants of the Beijers family (who hid Avraham for over a year in the Netherlands and who were recognized as “Righteous Among the Nations”), and Steven Chesne, the film’s composer. The Q&A will be moderated by Holocaust scholar Dr. Michael Berenbaum. The event is in partnership with American Society for Yad Vashem, Holocaust Museum LA, Holland Hollywood Connection, Valley Beth Shalom, Chabad North of Montana, Chabad of Pacific Palisades, and the Kindertransport Association.
