safeTALK–Suicide Alertness Workshop

Training our community to become suicide alert helpers.

SafeTALK is a 2.5-3 hour suicide alertness training which provides participants with tools to recognize and engage a person who might be having thoughts of suicide and connect the person with helpers who know how to complete the helping process. This workshop is open for women and girls over 15 only. Every participant will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the course. The workshop will be offered by Leigh Hershkovich-Ioffe, a safeTALK instructor and the Creative Director of the Chabad Teen Network. It will be hosted at a private residence in the Pico-Robertson neighborhood.
