Yossi Klein Halevi is a fellow at the Shalom Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. Firmly committed to Muslim-Jewish dialogue, he co-Directs the Institute’s Muslim Leadership Initiative, a seminar for American Muslim leaders on the meaning of
Israel. 

Halevi is a former Contributing Editor of the New Republic, and a frequent contributor in the op-ed pages of the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, and Washington Post. He has authored numerous books, including his most recent title, Memoirs of A Jewish Extremist, the story of his personal journey to interfaith activism. His 2013 best-seller, Like
Dreamers, was named Best Jewish Book of the Year by the National Jewish Book Council, and has been described by Ambassador Michael Oren as “an Israeli epic.”
