United Hatzalah Annual Gala and Concert
Thursday, February 27, 2020
An event to support the work of United Hatzalah and equip their remarkable volunteers with life-saving equipment and supplies.
United Hatzalah’s model is revolutionizing emergency medical response and dramatically impacting the fabric of Israeli society. Here’s how: We have 6,000 highly trained volunteer medics – EMT’s, paramedics, doctors more – who respond to over 1,500 emergency calls each day – treating those in need and working to keep families and communities whole.
These medics are not paid professionals waiting for calls and deployed from stations. Rather, they are individuals working regular jobs, taking care of their families, and the like, who drop whatever they are doing in a moment’s notice to respond to an emergency. Using our proprietary GPS software we can deploy response within seconds of a call and provide lifesaving aid faster than any other EMS organization in the world. And our services are always free of charge, 24/7, 365 days a year.
Please note: This is a community event not planned by The Jewish Federation.
