WIZO Sponsor a Child Dinner

A vital piece of Israel’s social welfare system, the Women’s International Zionist Organization (WIZO), often in partnership with the government and governmental agencies, responds to needs of distressed parents and children with on-the-ground solutions.

WIZO New York maintains 9 child care centers, 2 youth villages and dormitories for at risk youth, 2 shelters for battered women and their children, and a center for the Prevention of Violence as part of the 800 project network WIZO maintains throughout the country. WIZO works to ensure the future and safety of Israelis in distress, and while doing so, strengthens the bond between world Jewry and the State of Israel. Proceeds from this special evening will aid Israel’s children by providing educational opportunities and a safe environment to the thousands of students who rely on WIZO’s services.
