Yom HaShoah Holocaust Commemoration
Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust will host its 25th annual Community Yom HaShoah Holocaust Commemoration in Pan Pacific Park.
Speakers include:
John B. Emerson, U.S. Ambassador to Germany, 2013-2017; human rights activist Kimberly Marteau Emerson; Consul General of Israel Sam Grundwerg; Holocaust survivor Renee Firestone
Invocation by Rabbi Jason Fruithandler of Sinai Temple.
Ceremony at 2 p.m.
Yiddish poetry reading and conversation with Holocaust survivor artists at 12 p.m.
Produced in cooperation with the 1939 Society.
All events free and open to the public.
