Overview
The Jewish Early Childhood Education Leadership Institute (JECELI) is a collaboration between The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, the Jewish Theological Seminary, and Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion. This program provides intensive professional Jewish leadership development for new and aspiring directors in Jewish early childhood education. The program is based in Jewish concepts of leadership and learning along with the current research on best practices in the field. JECELI has recently moved from a national program to a community-based model and is currently working with a cohort of educators in Los Angeles for the 2019-2020 program period (February 2019-June 2020).
