Join Us to Protect Jewish Students in Sacramento on July 9th

As antisemitism continues to rise, our schools are not immune. We are calling on you to take immediate action to ensure California has the tools to effectively confront antisemitism in our K-12 space.

Join us for an urgent advocacy push in Sacramento on Wednesday, July 9th. Your testimony before our state senators is critical.

We’ve heard from students, parents, and educators — bias and harmful content are making their way into the classroom. To address this, our JFEDLA community is proud to support AB 715 — a landmark bill that will help counter antisemitism in California’s K-12 schools.

We need your help to push this bill forward and to oppose the loud and organized voices mobilizing against it. AB 715 is tentatively scheduled to be heard in the Senate Education Committee on Wednesday, July 9th. Your presence in Sacramento can make a real difference!

If you’re able to attend and provide a brief in-person statement of support, please complete this form so we can keep you informed with logistics and updates. JFEDLA will offer a pre-briefing to prepare you for what to expect, and we’ll be there to provide on-the-ground support. Your testimony can be simple: just state your name, your organization/affiliation (if applicable), your support for the bill, and briefly explain why it’s important to you.

When we show up together, we send a powerful message: fighting antisemitism in education is critical for the well-being of all students.

Please share this form with friends, colleagues, and allies who may want to join us in Sacramento and stand in solidarity with our Jewish students and families.

Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the fight against antisemitism in our schools.
