CSI Analysis Center

CSI Los Angeles was the first program in the United States to launch a security Analysis Center focused on gathering and analyzing threat information for the Jewish community. The Analysis Center became a model for many Jewish communal security programs that replicated this approach throughout the nation.

CSI operates a 24/7 Analysis Center with an on-call Duty Officer available to our Jewish institutions and government partners. The Analysis Center provides 24-hour threat monitoring; advanced threat analysis; and liaises with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The Analysis Center also provides 24-hour crisis communications via our CSI Alerts (situational awareness) and Emergency Communication System (major incidents).

The Analysis Center receives, identifies, analyzes, and disseminates information and intelligence so institutions can activate emergency plans and adjust their security posture. Analysts examine threats targeting the Jewish community in Southern California and fill the intelligence gaps throughout the entire state of California. Additionally, CSI’s Emergency Communication System keeps institutions informed in the event of a natural disaster or critical incident. CSI links all partners to a network of over 700 Jewish communal institutions in our region. Being part of the CSI network helps ensure that we are all prepared should a threat arise to the Jewish community in Southern California.
