ETTA, founded in 1993, is the premier L.A. resource for adults with disabilities.

💫 Meet Avremy, a vibrant part of the ETTA community for nearly 30 years. He’s the first ETTA client employed by Cambridge Farms, working hard and spreading joy. 🛒

“I love my job,” says Avremy. “I like having responsibilities and people appreciating the work I do.”

“He’s like family here,” notes the store manager. “Avremy is friendly, polite, and always has a smile.” His thoughtfulness also shines through - he plans to take his job coach to Disneyland with his earnings!

Avremy’s story showcases how the right opportunities empower individuals with disabilities to thrive and, with support, their abilities truly shine. Let’s celebrate inclusive workplaces!🌟

I’m so proud of Avremy and so proud of Etta and also so proud of Cambridge Farms for having this program!

This past Monday, ETTA.org and אלווין ישראל Israel Elwyn, an organization in Israel that supports over 5,000 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, honored Israel’s 76th Independence Day, Yom Ha’atzmaut. Our Zoom celebration was filled with heartfelt greetings, uplifting songs, and a vibrant spirit while creating Israeli flag art together. We look forward to continuing this global partnership of inclusion and friendship.
