Ezra Network

Jewish Federation Los Angeles’ Ezra Network is here for you.

Ezra means help in Hebrew. JFEDLA’s Ezra Network can help you access what you need. If you’re a college student living with food insecurity, a parent of a struggling teen, a caregiver to a parent or partner, or an employee trying to re-enter the workforce, you’re not alone.

From the privacy of your own home, on campus or at a Jewish institution — virtually and in-person — you can access one-on-one sessions with a social worker, legal counselor, or job counselor, who will facilitate:

  • Government Benefits Applications
  • Screening for Financial Assistance Programs
  • Support Groups
  • Referrals to Services in the Community
  • Legal Assistance (Landlord/Tenant Issues,
Bankruptcy, Consumer Rights, Elder Care, etc.)
  • Mental Health Counseling
  • Job Search Readiness Skills
