Singing Shabbat songs around a campfire. Crushing it at Color Wars. Making forever friends and creating a Jewish identity that connects you to Jewish community for life.
Every year, The Jewish Federation makes the above possible by giving hundreds of kids a strong foundation for their Jewish identities at Jewish summer camps. These camps give kids the traditional summer camp experience with outdoor activities, team building and more, all while learning about Jewish culture and connecting to their Jewish roots. Studies have shown that kids who attend Jewish summer camp grow up to be more involved in the Jewish community — that’s why we want to make camp accessible to as many families as possible and provide first-time campers with a meaningful and memorable experience.
How are we accomplishing this? Through the One Happy Camper Incentive Award.
