West San Fernando Valley
Hi! I’m Esther, a San Fernando Valley native and your Community Connector for the West Valley. I live in Woodland Hills with my husband and 3 kids (ages 6, 4 and 1). My family tends to spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying nature and we strive to create a more sustainable way of life through composting, gardening, and repurposing. I’m also a substitute teacher with LVUSD and enjoy reselling vintage furniture and second-hand clothing. I’m American-Israeli and spent my formative teenage years living and learning in Israel. I’m very excited to get to know other PJ families in this wonderful community.
East San Fernando Valley
JoLynn Pineda Brock
Hello PJ Families! My name is JoLynn Pineda Brock and, while I’d like to believe I am a native Angeleno, I was born in Kansas and raised in Moreno Valley, CA. I currently live in the San Fernando Valley with my husband, daughter, and our two fur-babes, Scurf and Lola. I enjoy finding local family-friendly activities, exploring my Judaism (Intro to Judaism alum), crafting any chance I get, volunteering in my community, and spending time with my family and friends. Oh and eating delicious food, — but that’s a given, right? I look forward to meeting new families in the East San Fernando Valley and creating a community that we can all be proud to call our own.
Hi! My name is Sara, your Community Connector for LA City – East. I live in Los Angeles with my husband and two children, ages 6 and 8. My family and I love exploring Los Angeles. We are always trying different places and discovering new and exciting parks and recreational activities. I have worked in the classroom setting with ages 1 ½ to 5 years old. I have also worked with different Jewish organizations in various functions for nearly 15 years. My hobbies are designing clothes, spending time with family and friends, art projects, cooking and finding new recipes. I am very passionate in helping families and connecting you to one another and sharing resources. I look forward in meeting you soon. Please feel free to email me at SEbrahim@JewishLA.org with any questions. See you soon!
