Success Through Service: My CLI Journey

Participating in JFEDLA’s Community Leadership Institute (CLI) was a transformative experience that shaped my perspective on philanthropy, community involvement, and leadership. CLI profoundly influenced how I live my life, instilling in me the belief that true success is defined by the ability to meaningfully give back to the community. This philosophy continues to guide both my professional ambitions and personal outlook, motivating me to build a successful career as an entrepreneur specifically so that I can support causes close to my heart.

Now, as I prepare to join the Federation’s Cabinet, I look back at CLI as the catalyst that propelled my involvement in numerous organizations, including Jewish Colorado, AIPAC, Israeli American Council, Friends of Duvdevan, Jewish National Fund, and Staenberg-Loup JCC. The connections, insights, and mentorship I gained through CLI not only equipped me with critical leadership skills but also provided the foundation to confidently launch my own company. I remain deeply grateful to CLI for connecting me with inspiring mentors and peers whose wisdom continues to shape my path forward, in business and my commitment to community service. Philanthropy has become a way for me to lead by example for my son, showing him that tzedakah should be a guiding principle in his life.
