The Victims of Today’s Terrorist Attack in Bulgaria

Jewish Federation Los Angeles expresses tremendous sadness and outrage at the news of today’s terror attack in Bulgaria that targeted and killed innocent Israeli tourists who had just arrived from Tel Aviv.

“Iran is responsible for the terror attack in Bulgaria, we will have a strong response against Iranian terror,” said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Today’s attack occurred on the same day we mourn the 18th anniversary of the brutal bombing of the Jewish Community Center in Buenos Aires, Argentina that left 85 people dead.

Our Federation stands in solidarity with all who have been impacted by terrorism. We express our deepest condolences to the families of today’s victims and the people of Israel.  In tragic times like these, the names, faces, and stories of those killed are often lost. Those injured face a lifetime of recovery, and the families of those killed will endure a lifetime of grieving.  As a compassionate community, let them know they are in our thoughts and prayers. Make a donation to our Federation’s victims of terror fund or share a message of love and support below for the families of the victims and the survivors of this horrific act of terror – and show them that our community will always stand together with the people of Israel and Jews around the world against terrorism.
