Gear Up For Camp Day | The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles

Gear Up for Camp Day

Join us on Sunday, May 21st, for our Federation’s annual Gear Up for Camp Day volunteering opportunity to prepare local kids for an unforgettable summer.

Gear Up for Camp Day is an incredible way to give back to our community. It’s a fun-filled day of outdoor games and activities for underserved youth.

Details:

Sunday, May 21, 2017
8:30 AM-1:30 PM
Camp Bob Waldorf on the Max Straus Campus
1041 Shirlyjean St., Glendale 91208

Start the morning indoors by assembling supply packages of necessities for 1,000 Jewish Big Brothers/Big Sisters campers to receive when they get to camp this summer, and then continue the fun outside with campers and their families.

From arts and crafts to bubbles to an inflatable obstacle course and live music, this volunteer opportunity only comes around once a year, so don’t miss it!

The Jewish Federation’s Community Engagement Strategic Initiative mobilizes the Los Angeles Jewish community to pursue an inclusive society that reflects the best of American and Jewish values, a strong Jewish future, and a safe and vibrant Israel.
