Welcoming the Yemin Orde Youth Village Choir

Join us for an evening of emotion and song as the Yemin Orde Youth Village Choir joins with two Los Angeles children’s choir’s to present a musical program that will delight and inspire you. The LA-based choirs are Hillel Hebrew School and Shalhavet. 

Yemin Orde is a home, school and safe haven for 440 at-risk immigrant youth who have suffered severe trauma. At Yemin Orde, their troubled lives are transformed as they receive a quality education and embrace hope for a bright future as citizens of Israel.

Choir members range in age from 15 to 18 years old and are from Ethiopia, France, former Soviet Union and Brazil and reflect the diversity of the youth who live and learn at Yemin Orde. The choir performs classic and popular Israeli works as well as original songs written by the teens.
