CPW Happy Hour (FC)
Community of Professional Women is hosting another exciting happy hour giving professional women from different industries and fields the opportunity to come together and connect to the work of our Federation as well as one another. At this Happy Hour, meet new people while you learn about the important work of our Federation abroad, particularly our partnership with the Joint Distribution Committee as you hear from Masha Shumatskaya, a young Ukrainian war refugee who is one of many displaced Jews aided by JDC after she fled fierce fighting between government and separatist forces in her hometown. Following her escape, she now actively works with JDC to ensure that other Jews still living in the rebel-held cities also receive proper aid including food, medicine or heating oil. Her story is truly inspirational and we are certain you will find her captivating.
