From Iran to BDS: Challenges for U.S.-Israel Relations (YALA)

Join us and the Washington Institute for Near East Policy’s Ghaith al-Omari and David Makovsky as they examine the future of U.S.-Israel relations in an ever-changing regional landscape.

The event will take place just three days after President Obama and Prime Minister Netanyahu are scheduled to meet to discuss issues of critical importance to U.S. and Israeli security interests.

An RSVP is required. Please RSVP by November 9 to Janna Weinstein at jweinstein@washingtoninstitute.org, or at 415 378 1393.

Ghaith al-Omari is a senior fellow at the Washington Institute, and a former peace negotiator and adviser to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

David Makovsky is a Ziegler Fellow and director of the Washington Institute’s Project on the Middle East Peace Process, in the Irwin Levy Family Program on the U.S.-Israel Strategic Relationship. He is a former adviser to Secretary of State John Kerry’s Middle East peace team at the Department of State.

YALA—Young Adults of Los Angeles—offers Jewish Angelenos in their twenties and thirties more than a hundred social, professional, cultural, and volunteer opportunities every year. Learn more at yala.org.
