Professional Networks: Tech in Education (YALA)
Join us for an evening of small group conversations with leading professionals working across both fields.
Following a moderated conversation about tech advancements, opportunities, and challenges in educational industries, each panelist will lead two breakout sessions to address specific questions and topics in intimate discussions.
Featuring:
- The co-founder of a startup tech camp for kids
- An employee of LAUSD’s tech division who is helping to fix the controversial student information system and who worked closely with a board member who helped oversee the infamous iPad rollout
- Ariel Goldberg, Educator Community Manager, from ABCmouse, a widely-used teaching software platform.
- An attorney working at educational tech company GoGuardian, which produces security and classroom management software, license agreements, and privacy policies
