Promised Land: Compost realness

$15

Passover ‘22 is coinciding both with a Shmita year (a mandate in the Torah to care for the earth by letting it rest every seventh year) and California’s new compost law, which mandates the most significant change to our state’s waste system since recycling laws were introduced in the ‘90s.

So it seems like a great time to learn more about composting. What is it? Why is it so valuable? And how does it work? Roll up your sleeves and join us on Good Deeds Day to roll up our sleeves and connect to the earth in an engaging experiential workshop with the guidance of Dev Brous—a composting queen, urban homesteader, herbalist, and ritualist with a focus on ancient and emergent practices for soul-care, earth-care, and community care.

Coffee and light snacks will be provided.

Please note that in order to attend, all guests must be fully vaxxed and show proof.
