Details: Come learn about IsraAID’s sustainable and unique community based approach to psychosocial programs. Gain a deeper understanding of psychological first aid (PFA) as well as key concepts of psychosocial support and the three stages of trauma response: PFA, Psychosocial Support, and Trauma Processing.

Please note: This briefing workshop will provide dental CE credits for dentists and dental hygienists.

Speaker: Noa Emanuel, MA. was born and raised in Israel. She graduated from the Graduate School of Art Therapy at the University of Haifa. Noa currently works at the Post Traumatic Stress Center in New Haven, CT as a drama therapist and a clinician. She worked as a drama therapist in Israel for six years with different populations, mostly in a community setting. Noa has worked with IsraAID in Kenya and Philippines, providing Psycho social support, Psychological First Aid, varying needs assessments and teacher trainings.
